Original photograph is of wet pebbles on a beach. The combination of colors, shadows, textures, sizes, and shapes really worked with this method of manipulation. As with my other digital art images, I start with an existing photograph and begin manipulation until something emerges, whether a creature, face, or other semi-recognizable shape. Some are just attractive patterns.
