The original photograph was of red onions at our local farmers market in Chico, CA. Creating this image is something like therapy after the recent election.

As with my other digital art images, I start with an existing photograph and begin manipulation until something emerges, whether a creature, face, or other semi-recognizable shape. Some are just attractive patterns.
