Made this photograph while passing through Dunnigan Hills (my name) area on my way from Chico to San Francisco. Normally, one would think that green landscapes like this reflect a spring or summer season. It's just the opposite. As with much of the region, it's typically green in winter and brown in summer. It's cattle and sheep grazing land. Over the years, I made many photographs in this area, but this is my favorite.
